Local AI

I came across this interesting tweet.

The Globalist AI Trap That Could Backfire Hard

The plan was simple from their side. Build massive centralized cloud AI that everyone depends on. Subscription model. Data harvested 24/7. Censorship baked in. One ring to control all the computing. That is how you get the "you will own nothing and use our AI" world they have been building toward.

But something interesting is happening right now.

More engineers and regular users are running open source models locally on their own hardware. Ollama, LM Studio, PrivateGPT, Llama 3.1 derivatives, even smaller efficient versions of Claude-class models that run completely offline on a decent laptop or home server. No cloud. No subscription. No data leaving your machine. No central kill switch.

It is becoming practical for real work. Coding. Research. Document analysis. Personal automation. Financial modeling. All without phoning home to San Francisco or Davos-aligned servers. There was a time when everyone believed Computers would only exist on the floors of university campuses. Then the Home PC came about.

If this trend accelerates the globalist vision gets a major problem. Their entire control layer assumes you need their centralized infrastructure. Local AI breaks that dependency. It hands sovereignty back to the individual. No more "your AI is down for maintenance" or "this prompt violates our policy" or "we updated the model and now it refuses your request."  What if ...what they are building is far beyond what the average person actually needs and we reject their subscriptions and build our own onsite systems in our homes and businesses?

Unintended consequence for everyone else: The big centralized AI companies lose their moat. Subscription revenue collapses. Data monopolies shrink. Global regulation becomes almost impossible when models run on millions of disconnected devices. The very tool they thought would lock humanity into dependency could become the tool that sets millions free.

As a CTO who has spent decades building systems I see both sides. Local AI is messy right now. It requires hardware knowledge and some setup. But every month it gets easier and more powerful. The globalists bet everything on central control. They may have just handed regular people the off switch. Neither side is going to stop but the uncomfortable truth?  There are far far more home hackers helping to develop linux-like open source systems than they are comfortable with.

Maybe this is why RAM suddenly became so expensive?

This is the same pattern we keep seeing. They build the machine to control us. We quietly build the workaround.

If you are already running local models or thinking about ditching cloud SaaS DM me what you are using and how it is working. Bookmark quote or share if this angle hits home. Follow for more on how the machinery can be turned against itself.
The tweet goes on to list the top reliable guides and resources (all current as of Feb 2026). Here is a little more about the current RAM shortage (generated by Gemini):
RAM prices are soaring in 2026 due to extreme demand from AI data centers, which are consuming the majority of high-performance memory (HBM and DDR5) supply. Major manufacturers like Samsung, SK Hynix, and Micron are prioritizing these high-margin AI, causing shortages and price spikes for consumer electronics.

Key Aspects of the Expensive RAM + AI Situation:
  • AI Data Center Demand: Training and running large AI models require massive amounts of memory, creating a bottleneck that has manufacturers pivoting production away from consumer RAM.
  • Memory Shortage/Price Surge: RAM prices have surged significantly in early 2026 compared to 2025, according to Counterpoint Research. Some kits have more than doubled in price over the past year.
  • DDR4 Phase-out: Manufacturers are reducing production of older DDR4 to focus on DDR5, causing scarcity and rising prices for older systems.
  • The "Memory Wall": AI performance is frequently limited by memory speed and capacity, leading to a "memory wall" where expensive GPUs wait for data.
  • Impact on Consumers: The high costs are expected to persist for the next couple of years, affecting the price of new PCs, laptops, and upgrade kits.
There's no doubt that an ideal of the global elite would be to turn all home computing devices into dumb terminals that serve only to connect to the Internet and can do nothing locally. At least some people are working to subvert that ideal.

The Cold Truth

An eighty minute video titled "The Cold Truth", Twitter screenshot shown in Figure 1, gives a good overview of the human-induced global warming scam:

Figure 1: link

The video is current and well presented, excellent for sharing with friends and family who may be in doubt about what the "truth" is about climate change. Because of the grip that those propagating climate alarmism have over media outlets and academia, the scam will continue unless we elect politicians who have sworn to support the severing of all governmental ties with the WEF.

Meanwhile, on a micro rather than a macro level, this YouTube video titled "OREGON URGENTLY SHUTS DOWN SMALL FARMS EN MASSE “To Protect The People" gives a good account of how governments, at both the local and state level, are waging an ongoing war on small farmers. The narrator reports how one city or state will implement legislation that is obviously overreaching and monitor the pushback from the citizenry. If legal challenges fail, then other cities and states will introduce similar legislation.

The agenda to deprive ordinary people of the right to grow their own food is being pushed worldwide by the WEF but it needs to be implemented at a city and state level. It is the job of the politicians and bureaucrats, most of whom are in the pocket of the WEF, to push this agenda. Thus it is vital to support politicians who are opposed to this agenda. This is the only way to thwart the master plan short of revolution.

CONTROL

If it is not thwarted then a few large corporations will control the food supply and citizens will be totally dependent of them for survival. How this food is produced, what it contains, what is added to it and how much it costs will be decided by governments  that are monitoring these corporations. Just as with the media, it is easy to control a few big players by ensuring that their CEOs are on board with the master plan.

There is still a window of opportunity remaining to turn things around. Governments require  the police, army, tax officials and other appointed persons to enforce their dictates and not all of them may be compliant. Soon autonomous drones and robots will replace them and they will have no qualms about enforcing "the rule of law". At that point, it will be too late.

Tweets from the Twitterverse

Let's start with a quote from today's Twitter feed:

Many fail to realize MOST alt-narratives are captured. It's designed that way. People given the spotlight who are deemed to be "stepping outside" the main narrative are just as likely, if not more, to be tasked with corralling the resistance, looping them back into the game.

This is something that Brendon O'Connell constantly points out and this tweet reminds us that some alternative media narratives (and personalities) are created and promoted by intelligence agencies that have a long history of infiltrating, controlling and if needs be, undermining, what they regard as the opposition.

The alternative media needs to be viewed with the same skepticism as the mainstream media, probably more so because we are emotionally primed to accept what the former is telling us and more likely to suspend our critical faculties. I've written before about how flat earthers aligned themselves with 9/11 truthers, so as to damage the credibility of that movement.

Sometimes these suspect alternative media sites serve to distract us from deeper issues. At other times they simply promote division, pitting those on one side of an issue against those on another, and it's sad how many are absorbed in this tweedledum-tweedledee dichotomy. This tactic is especially prominent in the political arena.

The intelligence community has specialised for decades in psyops or psychological operations and it has become highly skilled at it. It helps enormously of course to have the mainstream media uncritically spewing forth scripted propaganda to support these operations.

Another tweet that caught my attention was the following:

I assure you, if it requires coercion, manipulation, gaslighting, 24/7 advertising, fear-mongering, silencing of dissenting opinions and experts, slandering of alternative options, tons of incentives, and indemnification from liability, then it isn’t required for health.

Obvious of course but sometimes it helps just to spell it out. The current propaganda campaign promoting the vaccine uptake is probably the most sustained and pervasive ever attempted. At the same time, the pandemic drama serves as a powerful distraction. It diverts attention from the massive transfer of wealth to a tiny elite that are profiting enormously from the current crisis.

At the end of the day however, no matter what the distractions, it's all about CONTROL:
  • control over your wealth
  • control over your health
  • control over what you eat
  • control over your energy consumption
  • control over your behaviour
  • control over reproduction
  • control over where you travel
  • control over history
  • control over information
  • control over language
Whatever else might contribute to your autonomy and freedom of choice will be controlled as well. Every aspect of your daily life will be monitored and evaluated, and contribute to your social credit score.

Fake Food World

Figure 1

While the War on Meat is well underway, it would seem that the War on Coffee has already begun. Figure 1 shows a screenshot  from the website of a company called ATOMO! Molecular Coffee. On the website's opening page it's announced that:
Climate change is causing a world of problems for the coffee industry:
• increased plant disease
• deforestation of the rainforest

Couple that with increased consumption and the math doesn’t look good for conventional coffee.

Just to reinforce the message, Figure 2 shows a kindergarten-style graphic:

Figure 2

Of course, the process is proprietary, so you won't really know what's in the coffee just as you won't really know what's in the fake meat. Vaccines can be easily added, as this article describes:
Edible vaccines offer cost-effective, easily administrable, storable and widely acceptable as bio friendly particularly in developing countries. Oral administration of edible vaccines proves to be promising agents for reducing the incidence of various diseases like hepatitis and diarrhea especially in the developing world, which face the problem of storing and administering vaccines. Edible vaccines are obtained by incorporating a particular gene of interest into the plant, which produces the desirable encoded protein. Edible vaccines are specific to provide mucosal activity along with systemic immunity. Various foods that are used as alternative agents for injectable vaccines include cereals (wheat, rice, corn) fruits (bananas) and vegetables (lettuce, potatoes, tomatoes). Thus, edible vaccines overcome all the problems associated with traditional vaccines and prove to be best substitutes to traditional vaccines.
This is a disturbing but seemingly irreversible trend. 2020 has shown us that legislation can be passed by governments to prohibit any activity that is deemed undesirable. Raising chickens for their eggs, growing your own vegetables or even collecting rainwater can be made illegal. The following excerpt is from an article titled "Avoiding a Climate Lockdown" and warns of the harsh measures that will be needed now and in the future:

As COVID-19 spread earlier this year, governments introduced lockdowns in order to prevent a public-health emergency from spinning out of control. In the near future, the world may need to resort to lockdowns again – this time to tackle a climate emergency.

Shifting Arctic ice, raging wildfires in western US states and elsewhere, and methane leaks in the North Sea are all warning signs that we are approaching a tipping point on climate change, when protecting the future of civilization will require dramatic interventions.

Under a “climate lockdown,” governments would limit private-vehicle use, ban consumption of red meat, and impose extreme energy-saving measures, while fossil-fuel companies would have to stop drilling. To avoid such a scenario, we must overhaul our economic structures and do capitalism differently.

Many think of the climate crisis as distinct from the health and economic crises caused by the pandemic. But the three crises – and their solutions – are interconnected.

COVID-19 is itself a consequence of environmental degradation: one recent study dubbed it “the disease of the Anthropocene.”

The climate, health and economic crises are interconnected and the bad habits of the planet's human population are to blame. Stern measures will be needed to save the planet and avert disaster. These measures include faking, in the laboratory, all the food and drinks that humans consume. Predictive Hollywood programming has accustomed us somewhat to the idea because this sort of fake food is what astronauts partake of during long space journeys.

The fake food industry has little to do with saving the planets and everything to do with control. Control of food production by a few globally approved mega corporations will ensure the goyim's total compliance. If you don't comply, you starve to death. Compliance will be "encouraged" by the addition of secret ingredients to the fake food and drink that is consumed. The "soma" of Huxley's "Brave New World" of course springs to mind.

Orwellian Oz

Australia is on course to ban cash transactions in excess of $10,000. Worldwide, it's clear that the cashless society is coming, it's just a question of how soon. For Australia, it will be sooner rather than later. The primary reason for abolishing cash is CONTROL.

To films, football, beer and gambling, the bread and circuses of the modern world, will be added the cashless society in which our every transaction can be tracked and control becomes absolute. This transactional currency will be totally digital and amount to no more that a number in a database. It can be manipulated as desired by powers far beyond any individual's control, decreased by fines for what is deemed antisocial behaviour and perhaps augmented by rewards for displays of good citizenry (such as reporting ones neighbour for antisocial behaviour).

In such a system, it will be easy to block donations to organisations such as the BDS movement or any other group that the government does not approve of. Either overtly or covertly, a Chinese social credit score system will be introduced that will allow for restrictions to be imposed on travel both within the country and outside of it. Australia is already well on its way to such an Orwellian dystopia. Here is a chilling excerpt from a mindless article that appeared in the Brisbane Times. It's an opinion piece titled School kids already get free vaccines. Add one more and is written by Jenna Price, a columnist and academic at the University of Technology, Sydney.
So what can we do to improve the take up of flu vaccines in Australia? You can’t make people have immunisations although I’d very much like to. One positive step we could take is to roll-out a flu vaccination scheme through our schools. It would have to be free, added to the national immunisation program and funded by the federal government. Schools already do an excellent job of organising vaccination schedules; they provide the venue and the relevant health departments provide the vaccine and staff. As one school principal said to me, “We’ve already got the kids lined up. We could just add another jab to the schedule.” Every year without fail, that would reduce the spread.
Note the mindset of the journalist: You can’t make people have immunisations although I’d very much like to. If mandatory vaccination were put to a popular vote, Jenna Price would be supporting it. What's chilling however, is the focus on schools as a means of facilitating and eventually helping to enforce such vaccinations. For me, Australia has become an unsettling place to live which is why I choose not to live there.

Even entering the country can be an unpleasant experience. On my last visit, following an overnight flight, I was taken aside by a customs official, given the third degree and told that my "attitude sucked". In fact I was too tired to have an "attitude" because I hadn't slept on the flight and was struggling to coherently answer the questions that were being put to me. The attitude of customs officials and airport police is that they can feel they can say and do what they want to anyone who attracts their attention. As another return to Oz is imminent, I'll be on my guard as I pass through Perth airport because last time I was certainly caught off guard.

There's no point in mentioning the limitless authority that ASIO has to spy on Australian citizens. Australia has become a surveillance state as well as a police state. With the arrival of 5G cellular networks, the extent of the surveillance will increase further and limits on police powers will decrease proportionately.

Access to alternative news sources is also been curtailed. BitChute, an alternative site to YouTube for uploading videos, is an example of just one of the many sites that have been blocked at the whim of ISPs. This just makes it harder for someone casually browsing the Internet to chance upon alternative news. In Australia, mainstream television is unwatchable and newspapers unreadable. An accumulation of laws, regulations and ordinances have subjugated Australians, many of whom dutifully line up or have their children line up for flu shots and any other recommended vaccinations. They fear the media-created Moslem bogeyman and accept Orwellian surveillance and police brutality as the price to play for being kept safe.
