By 1978, Ruhollah Khomeini was in exile in the holy city Najaf, Iraq, from whence Saddam Hussein expelled him that same year.

In the newspaper Libération, Dominique Lorentz highlighted the fact that the Zionist West (specifically USA, France, and Britain) viewed Khomeini as a TOOL to destabilize or overthrow the Shah. Lorentz reported that the Western-Zio "intelligence" "services" relocated Khomeini to just outside Paris:

Of course, this required the active complicity, or at least the explicit clearance, of the Zionist French Regime.

Next, all the major Zionist "intelligence" "services" and media transformed Khomeini's international image into that of a "Respectable Holy Man" whose political headquarters were now at Neauphle-Le-Château, 25 miles west of Paris.

HOW THE ZIONISTS INSTALLED KHOMEINI

Anthony Parsons, British ambassador to Iran at the time, quoted the Shah, "If you lift up Khomeini's beard, you will find Made in England written under his chin".

Khomeini's "Islamic" "revolution" was instigated by the CIA, MI6, and French-intel with the goal of controlling Iran's energy.

In his 2007 book "The Secret War with Iran", Dr Ronen Bergman wrote: "Another propaganda tool for Khomeini was none other than the Persian-language broadcasts of the BBC. The channel gave him a platform. The regular broadcasts made him the 'unchallenged leader' of the Iranian revolutionary movement". On top of that, in his well-known Jan 1980 interview with David Frost, the Shah himself reconfirmed the BBC's crucial role in his overthrow.

In his 2004 book, "A Century of War", US historian F William Engdahl said the Carter Regime changed US policy toward Iran in 1978: "In Nov 1978, President Carter named the Bilderberg Group's George Ball, another Trilateral, to head a special White House Iran task-force under the National Security Council's [Trilateral] Brzezinski. Ball recommended that Washington drop support for the Shah of Iran and support the fundamentalist Islamic opposition of Ayatollah Khomeini. Robert Bowie from the CIA was one of the lead 'case officers' in the new CIA-led coup against the man their covert actions had placed in power 25 years earlier".

In his "Hostage to Khomeini" (1981), journalist Robert Dreyfuss wrote that, already in 1975, the Club of Rome, the Aspen Institute and other "elite" think-tanks began conspiring to remove the Shah and undo his modernization plans which they saw as a threat to their power and control over the region:

"In Sep 1975, the Aspen Institute held a symposium in Persepolis, Iran. The public side of the transactions was published years later under the title 'Iran: Past, Present and Future'.

In the behind-the-scenes discussion, the plans for reversing the Shah's industrialization program and for turning Iran into a model Dark Ages Regime were mapped out.

It is a bitter twist of history that the Shah and his wife, Empress Farah Diba, witlessly provided huge amounts of funding to the Aspen project.

Attending the Persepolis symposium were at least a dozen members of the Club of Rome, including its chairman, Aureho Peccei; Sol Linowitz of Coudert Brothers law-firm; Jacques Freymond of the Institute of International Studies in Geneva; and Robert O Anderson and Rarlan Cleveland, both Aspen Institute officials and associates of the Club of Rome in the USA ..."

Veteran "BBC World Affairs" editor John Simpson was with Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini onboard the historic Air France chartered flight, when he returned to Iran on 1 Feb 1979. But, many observers exposed John Simpson as a known MI6 agent.

"BBC World Affairs" is the core international "news" and geopolitical branch of BBC "News", so it is a virtual certainty that such an editor simply MUST be MI6, on-the-square, and "establishment to the hilt". So, an MI6 journalist accompanied Khomeini to Iran when he landed there after the Shah went into exile!

WHY THE ZIONISTS DITCHED THE SHAH

The Shah's nationalist policies made him more popular in Iran, and made his country more independent and more powerful. This of course worried the CIA and MI6. The TOP FIVE reasons why the Zionists deposed the Shah:

1. The Shah bought land from the upper classes and, along with the crown's own land, sold it back cheaply to tenant farmers. Between 1.5 and 2.5 million Iranian peasant families (representing about half of all rural village households or nearly 90% of sharecroppers) became landowners, thus ending the old feudal system.

2. The Shah allowed women the right to vote. He brought an end to the wearing of the veil.

3. The Shah developed plans for a 90-billion-USD nuclear-power program.

4. The Shah signed petroleum agreements with the Italian oil company Eni S.p.A.

5. The Shah began to shut down the opium industry which was created during the days of British influence.

Messianic Zionism

This YouTube video titled Justifying Slaughter: How the Cult of Messianic Zionism Conquered the West by Thomas Suárez was very informative about how Israel came into being. Here is the text attached to the video:

Thomas Suárez's most recent book is Palestine Hijacked: How Zionism Forged an Apartheid State from River to Sea, which Noam Chomsky called "a damning story, heavily documented ... far too revealing to be tolerated." His previous book, State of Terror: How Terrorism Created Modern Israel, was praised by the eminent Israeli historian Ilan Pappe as “a tour de force that looks boldly at the impact of Zionism on Palestine and its people in the first part of the 20th century,” and “the first comprehensive and structured analysis of the violence and terror employed by the Zionist movement, and later the state of Israel, against the people of Palestine.”

Suárez is quite successful at exposing the evils of Zionism and showing how it readily put the best interests of Jews aside when pursuing its agenda of establishing the Jewish State of Israel, and how it continues to do now in expanding the country's original borders to create Greater Israel.

Mammon

Mark Moss posted an interesting video on his YouTube channel. It was titled Ukraine War Outcome Decided By JP Morgan? and made mention of the interesting fact that the first Central Bank of England was established in 1694:

The Bank of England was incorporated by act of Parliament in 1694 with the immediate purpose of raising funds to allow the English government to wage war against France in the Low Countries (see War of the Grand Alliance). A royal charter allowed the bank to operate as a joint-stock bank with limited liability. Source.

Remarkable to reflect on the fact that the first Central Bank in the United States was not established until 1913, more that two centuries later. It was all downhill from there for humanity.

Let's recall that King James 11 was deposed in 1688 and King William and Queen Mary from Orange took over in 1689. This was a major transformation of the English nobility that preceded the creation of the Bank of England. This seems to have signaled the shift in the financial centre of gravity of Europe from the Low Countries to England, just as it shifted from Spain to the Low Countries in the early 16th century.

The 18th Century certainly marked the rise of England and the decline of the Netherlands. A largely Catholic France challenged England throughout the century but the French Revolution and the subsequent defeat of Napoleon finished that country's hopes of global dominance. In the 19th Century, the financial dominance of Great Britain was unopposed although as the century progressed, the unification of Prussia and the German States under Bismarck saw Germany emerge as a potential threat.

Germany served the banksters well in the 20th Century. With the establishment of the US Fed in 1913, the financial centre of gravity began to shift again. Mark Moss in his video makes no mention of the Zionists and wisely so as he doesn't want to see his channel banned or demonetized. However, their influence was crucial in shaping the events of the 20th Century and in establishing a Jewish homeland in Palestine.

The Oxford Dictionary defines Mammon as follows:

... wealth regarded as an evil influence or false object of worship and devotion. It was taken by medieval writers as the name of the devil of covetousness, and revived in this sense by Milton: "others have forsaken Mammon in search of something on a more spiritual plane"

As Jesus said, you cannot serve God and Mammon. It is those worshipers of Mammon who are behind the wars that have plagued humanity over the past few centuries and they continue to do so to the present day.

Medieval theologians assigned seven archdemons to the seven deadly sins, and Mammon became the demon of greed. Similarly, Mammon was also sometimes conflated with the Greek god Plutus and depicted as the seductive god of riches. Famous personifications of mammon are found in Ben Jonson’s The Alchemist, John Milton’s Paradise Lost, and Edmund Spenser’s The Faerie Queene. The word eventually gained a secular connotation as an all-consuming pursuit of wealth and was often used in critiques of capitalism or of wealthy individuals. Source.

In an earlier post about The Khazarian Mafia, I outlined the shadowy origins of the people who now run the world. They are the worshipers of Mammon and currently God seems to be in retreat. This of course only seems to be the case. A backlash is growing and many will forsake Mammon in search of a more spiritual plane.

Heading Where?

The drought of posts to this blog over the course of the year is quite startling:

It's not that I've lost interest in alternative news but I'm just not motivated to post. I understand what's going on and the reality is depressing.

The greatest misjudgement that casual observers of the world stage make is in their belief that politicians (especially presidents, premiers and prime ministers) are directing the course of world events. Nothing could be further from the truth. In the hierarchy of power, the politicians rank only the plebs and the police/army. They act out their assigned roles and if they stray too far from the script they are replaced by others who are more compliant.

Is Xi Jinping an exception to that rule? Given that modern China has been created by Western bankers, probably not. Xi's ruthless ascent to Mao-like status is the result of his own psychopathic scheming but now that he has assumed absolute control it is reasonable to assume that his handlers are happy about this and about the direction in which he is steering China.

So where is he steering the country? In this regard, it's helpful to pursue the similarity between Mao and Xi. Mao could have been prevented from taking control of China if Chiang Kai-shek been given sufficient support. The global elite wanted a Communist China in order to exacerbate international tensions. Even after Mao came to power, he was not anti-West but his overtures of conciliation with the West were rebuffed.

Instead the Korean War was concocted by the globel elite shortly after the revolution. The Russians were supporting North Korea and when South Korea invaded and swept toward the Chinese border it was to be expected that a nervous and newly created Chinese government would react. This was an opportunity for the United Nations to intervene militarily but only if the Soviets didn't veto the move. The Soviet ambassador to the UN didn't show up for the vote and so UN intervention was on.

When the dust settled, things were territorially the same as before but with an enormous loss of life on both sides of the conflict. This of course is never a concern for people with their hands on the levers of power. The point was that the UN had intervened successfully in the conflict and shown that it was capable of acting as a global police force, a first step on the road to a one world government.

For the remainder of Mao's reign, the country suffered enormously but the West remained unconcerned and was happy to keep China ostracised and impoverished. Mao was not following instructions from the global elite during this period, he was on his own and focused on maintaining personal power by all means necessary. During this time Israel was consolidating its position in the Middle East before embarking on its goal of being at the crossroads of a Eurasian Superstate.

For the time being, China would remain in the cold. Once Israel's survival had been assured following the Yom Kippur War, the rehabilitation of China began in earnest. It would take decades for China to rise from its ashes and in the meantime Israel's grip over the United States would tighten and it would use the latter's military might to destabilise its neighbours.

What is Israel's connection with the so-called "global elite" and who in fact comprise this elite? This is never an easy question to answer because its members prefer to remain in the shadows but essentially its comprised of Anglo-European banking families who maintain an iron grip over the world's financial system. Many but not all of these families are Jewish. The Jewish elite have always prioritised their own survival and prosperity over the welfare of their rank-and-file brethren.

Israel is a complex country and has been overrun in the past few decades by Russian Jews, many of whom don't even identify as Jewish and some of whom are not Jewish at all. The Zionists are those who believe that Israel has the right to dominate the Middle East and who aspire to create a Greater Israel that extends from the Nile to the Euphrates. Many are Jews but not all and many Jews outside of Israel do not support the actions of the Israeli government.

Over the course of the twentieth century the goals of the global elite and the Zionists have converged. Initially, the idea of establishing a Jewish homeland in Palestine was viewed with suspicion by the Jewish banking families like the Rothschilds but they eventually gave their support. They helped Adolf Hitler rise to power knowing full well that his hostility to Jews would drive them toward either Israel or the United States with both countries becoming inextricably linked.

The cold war extended from 1945 to the late 1980's and was designed to maintain fear and apprehension in the West. The Russian government had only survived the post-revolutionary period thanks to Western support. The intent was to build up both Germany and Russia and pit one against the other, as happened. Postwar, Russia was quickly built up as a sinister threat to democracy and China soon followed.

The Russia-China axis of evil was effective in boosting arms sales and maintaining international tensions but with the intentional collapse of the Soviet Union and the opening up of China, a replacement had to be found. Islamic terrorism was chosen. That phase is ending and a new cold war is being activated. China and Russia are once again becoming the axis of evil, with Iran being included.

This time however, I think that Xi is complicit. He has been told of the course of action he is to follow. Why else would he have engaged in the obviously distastrous covid-zero policy that represents a great leap backwards economically akin to Mao's initiative of the late 50's and early 60's. Clearly there is a bigger picture to discern in all of this apparent madness.

There's no doubt that the government's of the world are envious of the degree of control that China has over its massive population. The country is a giant social experiment. How do you get vast swatches of the population to line up for Covid tests every two or three days in all sorts of weather? Well, China has succeeded and the governments of the world have taken note. It can be done.

Xi and China will be well rewarded in the long term. In the new financial order that is emerging, China will have far more influence than it now has. The United States dollar will lose its reserve status and the Chinese yuan will form an important part of a basket of currencies. The world will begin to look increasing like China in terms of social control as the impact of Central Bank Digitial Currencies begins to bite. China will of course have a significant head start.

China will form a crucial part of the Eurasian Superstate and trade will flourish between the other countries that comprise it. Russia will turn increasingly away from Europe. Perhaps this was not always the plan. According to Brendon O'Connell, Trump was brought in to oversee the withdrawal of the United States from NATO and to tolerate the increasingly close ties between Germany and Russia. It was hoped that Trump would usher in a period of increasing US isolationism and the buildup of an accelerated economic ties between North and South America.

This has not happened. The intervention of the US and NATO into the Ukraine-Russia conflict indicates that the United States is not willing to passively withdraw from Europe and that it is determined to maintain its presence there. In this sense, the Ukraine-Russia conflict is an indirect war against Germany by the United States. I can't help but feel this was planned and that Putin, like Jinping, is following instructions but was perhaps misled as to the response from the US and NATO. Was he told that there would be little resistance? The result has not turned out well for Europe or Russia.

Like Xi Jinping, perhaps Putin is playing the long game. He has told to maintain the pressure on Ukraine so as to destabilise the European economies and thus make a financial reset more justifiable. Like China, Russia will be rewarded by making the rouble part of the basket of currencies that will replace the US dollar as the sole reserve currency. Neither Jinping's zero covid policy nor Putin's war in Ukraine have made them popular in their own countries and yet they both are uncontested in their leadership. This fact is suggestive of a long term strategy that is more important to them than short term unpopularity.

There's no doubt that the global elite and the Zionists want to see the breakup of the United States. They desire an end to the unipolar world order that exists at the moment. Neither Russia nor China pose a serious threat to the United militarily and while the United States military continues its domination, the establishment of a multipolar world order is thwarted. With the increasing emphasis on city states, it is possible that the cities on the east and west coasts of the country as well as Chicago might be drawn into a northern alliance with Canada. Europe and Britain might join this alliance.

The central and southern parts of the countries, the Red Zone, might align with Mexico, Central America and South America. Russia would continue to be the bogeyman and Europe would look to the alliance with Britain and the United States for protection. So Blue Zone cities in the United States, along with Canada, Britain and Europe form one pole. The Red Zone of the United States along with Mexico, Central and South America form another pole. A fake war between Israel and Iran will lead to the creation of Greater Israel and a much enlarged Iran that includes Iraq and some of Saudi Arabia (including Mecca and Medina). Iran's sphere of influence will extend into the "Stans" and it will be another pole. Israel will then be at the hub of the so-called world island. China and India with their massive populations will be poles in themselves. Africa will continue to be exploited.

Australia and New Zealand will continue to remain safe havens for the global elite and ageing Zionists. Accordingly they will prosper. The Islamic countries such as Turkey, Pakistan and others will remain a problem. One thing that the global elite fear is a strong and vibrant religion that puts God first and mankind second. The global elite believe that they have justifiable rulership over mankind and God does not have any say in the matter. Thus they will do all in their power to weaken religions in general and Islam in particular because it is the most vibrant.

One way to do this is to exploit the split between Sunni and Shia moslems and to encourage separtist movements that will fragment the countries in the which moslems live. It remains to be whether the global elite will succeed in this and their other agendas. It is a grand plan and plenty of things can go wrong. One thing is certain. If they succeed, the results will be not all that dissimilar to the fate that overtook the Russians and Chinese following their respective revolutions. The disappearance of religion, a crushing of the human spirit and an iron control over a cowering humanity.

Two Hundred Years Together

I've been making my way through Alexander Solzhenitsyn's "Two Hundred Years Together". I'm still only at page 363 of 687 pages (see update at the bottom of this post). It's been slow going because the book is densely packed with information and the less than fluent translation makes the reading more difficult. A review in The Guardian of January 2003 writes of the 2002 book:

In his latest book Solzhenitsyn, 84, deals with one of the last taboos of the communist revolution: that Jews were as much perpetrators of the repression as its victims. Two Hundred Years Together - a reference to the 1772 partial annexation of Poland and Russia which greatly increased the Russian Jewish population - contains three chapters discussing the Jewish role in the revolutionary genocide and secret police purges of Soviet Russia.

Of course, he was immediately accused of antisemitism in writing the book but anyone who reads it cannot fail to appreciate his efforts to provide a balanced view of a complex relationship.

I found this section of his book about the Civil War of great interest. To quote:

The Civil War spilled over Russia’s borders. Let’s review that briefly (though the events in Europe are outside of the scope of this book).
The Bolsheviks invaded Poland in 1920 ... it appears that Polish Jews met the Red Army very warmly. According to a Soviet source, whole battalions of Jewish workers participated in the fighting at Minsk. Reading from the Jewish Encyclopedia: “on numerous occasions, Poles accused Jews of supporting the enemy, of `anti-Polish ́, `pro-Bolshevist ́ and even `pro-Ukrainian ́ attitudes.” During the Soviet-Polish war many Jews “were killed [by Polish Army] on charges of spying for the Red Army.”
The Soviets quickly formed a revolutionary “government” for Poland headed by F. Dzerzhinsky. In it were Y. Markhlevsky and F. Kon. Of course, they were surrounded by “blood work” specialists and ardent propagandists. (Among the latter we see a former pharmacist from Mogilev A. I. Rotenberg. Soon after the aborted Red revolution in Poland, he, together with Bela Kun and Zalkind-Zemlyachka, went on to conduct the deadly “cleansing” of the Crimea. In 1921 he participated in that glorious work again – this time “purging” Georgia, again under the direct command of Dzerzhinsky. At the end of 1920s Rotenberg was in charge of the Moscow NKVD.)
Not only Poland but Hungary and Germany as well were affected by the Red Revolution. An American researcher writes: “the intensity and tenacity of anti-Semitic prejudice in both the east and the center of Europe was significantly influenced by Jewish participation in the revolutionary movement.” “In the beginning of 1919, the Soviets, under predominantly Jewish leadership, started revolutions in Berlin and Munich,” and “the share of activist Jews was” disproportionately high in the German Communist Party of that period,” though “that party’s support in the Jewish community at large was not significant.” Four out of eleven members of the Central Committee were Jews with a university education.” In December 1918, one of them, Rosa Luxemburg, wrote: “In the name of the greatest aspirations of humankind, our motto when we deal with our enemies is: “Finger into the eye, knee on the chest!”

Rebellion in Munich was led by a theater critic, Kurt Eisner, a Jew of “bohemian appearance.” He was killed, but the power in conservative and Catholic Bavaria was seized by “a new government made up of leftist intellectual Jews, who proclaimed the `Bavarian Soviet Republic ́”(G. Landauer, E. Toller, E. Muhsam, O. Neurath) In a week the republic “was overthrown by an even more radical group,” which declared the “Second Bavarian Soviet Republic” with Eugen Levine at the helm. [35] Let’s read an article about him in the Encyclopedia: born into merchant Jewish family, he used to be a socialist-revolutionary; he participated in the [Russian] revolution of 1905, later became German national, joined the “Spartacist movement” of R. Luxemburg and K. Liebknecht, and now he became the head of the Communist government in Bavaria, which also included the abovementioned E. Muhsam, E. Toller and a native of Russia, M. Levin. The uprising was defeated in May 1919. “The fact that the leaders of the suppressed Communist revolts were Jews was one of the most important reasons for the resurrection of political anti-Semitism in contemporary Germany.”
“While Jews played a “quite conspicuous” role in the Russian and German communist revolutions, their role in Hungary became central.... Out of 49 People’s Commissars there, 31 were Jews,” Bela Kun being the most prominent of them; “the foreign minister (de-facto head of government),” he would orchestrate a bloodbath in the Crimea half a year later. Here we find Matyas Rakosi, Tibor Szamuely, Gyorgy Lukacs. “Granted, the prime-minister was a gentile, Sandor Garbai, but Rakosi later joked that Garbai was elected because someone had to sign execution orders on Sabbath days.” “Statues of Hungarian kings and heroes were knocked off their pedestals, the national anthem outlawed, and wearing the national colors criminalized.” “The tragedy of the situation was escalated by the fact that historically Hungarian Jews were much wealthier than their Eastern-European countrymen and were much more successful in Hungarian society.”
The direct relation between the Hungarian Soviet Republic and our Civil War becomes more clear by the virtue of the fact that special Red Army Corps were being prepared to go to the rescue of the Hungarian Soviet Republic, but they couldn’t manage it in time and the Republic fell (in August 1919).

The emphasis has been added by me to highlight one of the reasons for the rise of antisemitism in Europe in the 1920's and 1930's. While the Communist revolution failed to carry beyond Russia, the Zionists of course made use of this antisemitic feeling to make Europe an increasingly uncomfortable place for Jews to live. Ultimately it proved a poisonous place to live and the intention of course was to populate Palestine by as many Jews as possible by any means possible. Communism and Zionism were at that time two sides of the same coin. Following David Ben-Gurion's return in 1923 from a visit to the Soviet Union, he declared: "I am a Bolshevik.

Of course "the 1772 partial annexation of Poland and Russia which greatly increased the Russian Jewish population" is important to bear in mind because, prior to this annexation, Poland was a much larger and more powerful country and its rise and fall was intimately connected with its Jewish citizens. Figure 1 shows a map of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth at its greatest extent.

Between 1772 and 1795, the country was partitioned three times and after 1795, it ceased to exist for 123 years.

The Partitions of Poland were three partitions of the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth that took place toward the end of the 18th century and ended the existence of the state, resulting in the elimination of sovereign Poland and Lithuania for 123 years. The partitions were conducted by the Habsburg Monarchy, the Kingdom of Prussia, and the Russian Empire, which divided up the Commonwealth lands among themselves progressively in the process of territorial seizures and annexations.
The First Partition of Poland was decided on August 5, 1772. Two decades later, Russian and Prussian troops entered the Commonwealth again and the Second Partition was signed on January 23, 1793. Austria did not participate in the Second Partition. The Third Partition of Poland took place on October 24, 1795, in reaction to the unsuccessful Polish Kościuszko Uprising the previous year. With this partition, the Commonwealth ceased to exist. Source.

The most comprehensive survey of Polish history available in English, God's Playground demonstrates Poland's importance in European history from medieval times to the present. Abandoning the traditional nationalist approach to Polish history, Norman Davies instead stresses the country's rich multinational heritage and places the development of the Jewish German, Ukrainian, and Lithuanian communities firmly within the Polish context. Davies emphasises the cultural history of Poland through a presentation of extensive poetical, literary, and documentary texts in English translation. In each volume, chronological chapters of political narrative are interspersed with essays on religious, social, economic, constitutional, philosophical, and diplomatic themes. This new edition has been revised and fully updated with two new chapters to bring the story to the end of the twentieth century.

UPDATE: at the start of Chapter 21: During the Soviet-German War, the editor inserts a very important comment on the opening page (478) of that chapter:

"... readers should note that up until now the author has closely scrutinised all the sources and his own experience, and often found Jewish and Soviet sources to be full of exaggerations and outright lies, especially in relation to supposed hardships suffered by the Jews. However, in the case of alleged actions of Hitler and the Nazi’s (their sworn enemies), all Jewish and Soviet sources are taken by the author to be absolute truth."

Again, on the first page (504) of Chapter 22: From the end of the war to Stalin's death, the editor adds a comment to what Solzhenitsyn has written:

We have seen already that Soviet propaganda did not raise any alarm about the annihilation of Jews in Germany during the war; indeed it covered up those things, obviously being afraid of appearing pro-Jewish in the eyes of its own citizens. [ed: or maybe because it wasn’t actually happening?]

It's unfortunate that the author abandoned all objectivity in his account of German actions against Jews during the war years. Clearly, he felt that any attempt at objectivity would fuel accusations of anti-semitism. Such accusations were directed at him anyway. He would have done better to leave Chapter 21 blank and let readers of the book draw their own conclusions for its blankness.

Hollow Heroes

Nowhere has Zionist propaganda been more influential than in secondary education via book choices for English in various national and international curricula. Anne Frank's "Diary of a Young Girl" is an evergreen of course but there are many others that are also of doubtful authenticity. An ex-student of mine recently posted on Facebook that:

Holocaust Memorial Day 2021 was on January 27th, and I only got around to do a portrait of Elie Wiesel today. Took me 2 days to draw him. This is one of my most favourite quotes ever. I learned about Elie Wiesel in high school when we read his book "Night". When he passed away in 2018, I was a lot more affected by it than I thought I would, partly because I knew his experiences through his book. But his message to the next generations was clear, - always stand up against oppression, never be silent.

She would have read the book in the mid-naughties. This prompted me to find out more about Elie Wiesel. Properly speaking, his name is pronounced thus but, in English, his surname looks like "weasel", a little furry animal, but a word used figuratively to mean a sneaky and sly person, someone who cheats and lies. Was Elie affected perhaps by the compulsion of the name phenomenon? It appears that he might have been. Here is an interesting article about him, taken from this source:

The Howard Gotlieb Archival Research Center at Boston University organized a major exhibition titled “Champion for Human Rights: The Life and Work of Elie Wiesel” on September 27th 2015. Indeed, Wiesel has been awarded numerous awards — including the Nobel Peace Prize. However, to say that he is a champion of human rights is to be at odds with reality.
Being a loyal supporter of Zionism, he continues to condemn Palestinians, who have been the victims of the colonial expansion characterised by the illegal settlements in the occupied territories of West Bank, Gaza and Golan Heights. He speaks of the Palestinians with a racist framework, famously condemning Hamas for “the use of children as human shields” in the 2014 conflict between Gaza and Israel, known as Operation Protective Edge. That particular statement of his appeared as an advertisement in The New York Times and other newspapers on August 4, 2014. Wiesel endorsed another advertisement in The New York Times, urging lethal actions against Iran because of its nuclear energy program.
The late historian, Howard Zinn, who also taught at Boston University, called Wiesel’s refusal to include the suffering of non-Jews at the hands of the Nazis at the United States Holocaust Museum, along with the exhibits documenting Jewish suffering, one of the most “shameful moments” in recent memory. Wiesel reasoned his actions by proclaiming that the inclusion of the sufferings of non-Jews in the Museum would be an attempt to “falsify reality” and such calls were equivalent to “stealing the Holocaust from us.”
Wiesel has asserted that Jerusalem “belongs to the Jewish people,” his rationale being that Jerusalem was mentioned more than six hundred times in the Torah while not a single time in the Qur’an. Going by his line of reasoning, Prophet Muhammed is named five times by name while Jesus is mentioned twenty five times by name in the Qur’an. So what would his conclusion be, then? He has not only ignored and distorted history, he has also advanced the lie that Israel was attacked in 1967 to justify its occupation of Jerusalem and other Arab lands. In light of the June 1967 war, the UN Security Council resolution 242 explicitly stated “the inadmissibility of acquisition of land by force” and called on Israel to withdraw from its recent occupation of Arab lands. As the resolution was not heeded by Israel, the UN Security Council passed another resolution in May 1968 that “deplored the failure of Israel to comply with international law” and “considered that all legislative and administrative measures and actions taken by Israel, including the expropriation of land and properties, which tend to change the legal status of Jerusalem are invalid and cannot change that status.”
It is quite illuminating to look at Wiesel’s own life. During 1947-49, he worked as a journalist for a Zionist group called Irgun — a terrorist group, designated by the British. So, it is undoubtedly true that he would know about the 1948 Deir Yasin massacre of innocent Palestinians and other groups perpetrated by his own organisation, which at the time was headed by Menahem Begin and Yitzak Shamir. However, Wiesel goes onto argue that that hundreds of thousands of Palestinians left their homes in 1948 voluntarily. He consistently goes on demanding public apologies for crimes committed against Jews but never once for the crimes committed against Palestinians. It is not surprising since he has publicly stated, “I support Israel — period. I identify with Israel — period. I never attack, I never criticise Israel.”
Noam Chomsky has called Wiesel “a terrible fraud” and for good reason. I have illuminated only some of those reasons. By no means is he a champion for human rights. One can say he is a champion of Jewish rights — a champion that distorts history and reality to advance the Zionist agenda. More than anything, he is an Israeli apologist.

There are many other sources on the Internet confirming that Wiesel's "Night" is a work of fiction. It doesn't matter. Like Anne Frank's "Diary of a Young Girl", fiction becomes fact and my ex-student has added Elie Wiesel to her list of heroes. Sadly, she'll probably revere him to the day she dies and never doubt his sainthood for a moment. Such are the hollow heroes who are remembered on Holocaust Memorial Days.

Pakistan in the Dark

I quote from a news item in that useless rag called the Brisbane Times on January 10th 2021:

Massive power outage leaves Pakistan in the dark

Islamabad: A major technical fault in Pakistan's power generation and distribution system caused a massive power outage that plunged the country into darkness overnight, the energy minister said. Hours after the late Saturday outage, Energy Minister Omar Ayub said on Twitter that power was being restored in phases, starting with Islamabad. He said later on Sunday that power had been restored to much of the country.The blackout was initially reported on social media by residents of major urban centers, including Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad and Multan. The minister and his spokesman then took to Twitter to update the country. Ayub urged people to be patient. He said the cause of the cause of the power outage was being investigated and work was being done to fire up Pakistan's main Tarbela power station in the northwest, which would lead to a restoration of power in the rest of the country in phases. Ayub said in a news conference on Sunday that the Guddu power plant in southern Sindh province developed a fault at 11.41pm that triggered the shutdown of other power plants in seconds. Later, Zafar Yab, spokesman for the Ministry of Energy, said the Tarbela and Warsak plants, both in northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, had come back online and power was being restored to the transmission system. Yab said restoration of power to all areas of the country would take some time, however.

Pakistan is under pressure from the US and other countries to normalise ties with Israel, Prime Minister Imran Khan said, but insisted Islamabad will not open up relations with the "Zionists". Cash-strapped Pakistan relies on the support of Gulf Arab states, particularly Saudi Arabia, who have been overtly and covertly building ties to Israel in recent years. In September, the UAE and Bahrain signed a US-brokered normalisation agreement with Israel, and have been rapidly building ties since. Sudan last month became the latest Arab or Islamic country to follow suit after heavy pressure from Abu Dhabi and Washington. Last week, Khan revealed that Pakistan, too, was being pressed to recognise Israel. Khan told local media "Israel's deep influence in the US" was behind the pressure. "This influence was in fact extraordinary during the Trump stint," he said. When asked if Muslim countries were also applying pressure, Khan said: "There are things we cannot say. We have good relations with them. "I have no second thought about recognising Israel unless there is a just settlement, which satisfies Palestine," he added. In September 2019, Middle East Eye reported Imran Khan saying that "Pakistan has a very straightforward position. It was our founder of Pakistan Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah who was very clear that there has to be just settlement, a homeland for Palestinians before Pakistan can recognise Israel." He reiterated his position this week, adding that "Islamabad would continue to follow in Jinnah's footsteps vis-a-vis Palestine." Commenting on the policy of the US President-elect Joe Biden regarding issues of Palestine and Afghanistan, Khan said: "Afghanistan is not the real issue. The real issue is Israel. It is to be seen how Biden deals with that. Whether he changes Trump's policies about Israel or continues with them." Mahmoud Abbas, the president of the Palestinian Authority in Ramallah, sent a thankful letter to Khan following his comments. "We highly appreciate your adherence to your positions in support of the Palestinian people to obtain their legitimate rights," Abbas wrote.

So what's the connection between these two articles? Electricity is a critical component of a country's infrastructure. If that supply fails nationally, as has happened in Pakistan, then that country has problems. Russia, China and Iran are widely regarded as being the source of most cyberattacks but Israel leads the world in terms of cybersecurity. Hacking and cybersecurity are two sides of the same coin. With the Stuxnet virus that destroyed Iran's centrifuges that were being used in its nuclear energy program, Israel showed its hacking prowess. That was in 2010. Israel has come a long way since then and can impose cyber-insecurity on any country that gets in the way of what it wants.

What Israel wants of course in recognition and it's getting that with the Gulf States but Pakistan is holding out, along with many other countries. Could this blackout be a warning to Pakistan from Israel? There may be no link at all but it will be interesting to see if Imran Khan softens his position in the coming year on recognition of Israel.

30 countries, including Pakistan, still do not recognise Israel

LAHORE: Although 163 of the 193 United Nations member states recognize Israel, there are 30 countries, including Pakistan, which still do not enjoy diplomatic relations with this Zionist state which was conquered by the Ottoman Empire in 1517. The Ottoman Empire kept ruling over Israel for 400 years till 1917, when the British finally conquered it. The Jewish State of Israel was finally proclaimed under the British Mandate for Palestine in 1948. The countries that do not recognise Israel include Pakistan, Algeria, Bahrain, Comoros, Djibouti, Iraq, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, Yemen, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Brunei, Indonesia, Iran, Malaysia, Mali, Niger, Bhutan, Cuba, North Korea and Venezuela. The passports of some countries are not valid for travel to Israel. These include Pakistan, Bangladesh, Brunei, Iran and Iraq. Some 14 world countries do not accept Israeli passports. These are Pakistan, Algeria, Bangladesh, Brunei, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen. A week or so ago, the United Arab Emirates was also featuring on this list.

Lebanon Explosion

Two weeks ago I had an unusual dream involving a white cat. In the dream I encountered an unidentified woman and a white cat. The woman said to me, as I looked at the Persian-like cat, that it had arrived from Hiroshima the day before. Hiroshima has a particular association for me because I first arrived to start a new teaching job in China on Hiroshima Day, August 6th of 2009. The woman mentioning the day before and Hiroshima in the same context meant August 5th to my waking mind as I considered the dream on the morning after.

The dream was so unusual that it stuck in my mind and I became somewhat apprehensive as the date approached. On the morning of August 5th, I was watching RT on YouTube and saw the Beirut explosion that had happened the day before, around 6pm, in that city. The initial explosion was clearly non-nuclear but the second clearly was, despite subsequent that it was not. Most people have seen video footage of nuclear explosions and this was clearly the same, only on a smaller scale. It's only now, on Hiroshima Day, that I've drawn the connection between the Beirut explosion and my dream with its mention of the day before Hiroshima.

My dream does seem a little precognitive but that's not important. What's important is the devastation caused by the second and far more powerful explosion that to me seems clearly nuclear and not caused by ammonium nitrate. Whatever the cause, the damage has been done and Lebanon has been plunged into an even more difficult financial situation.

Terrifying Explosion in Beirut Wasn't Nuclear, Experts Say

The "experts" have been very quick to leap in and assure everyone that the blast was not nuclear. Israel is the likely suspect as it has fomenting unrest in the country for the past fifty years or more. I must confess to not knowing a great deal about the history of Lebanon and didn't realise that it has been under French control until its independence in 1946. It's certainly an interesting country but one that has suffered terribly from its proximity to the rogue state of Israel.

So nuclear explosion or not? The Washington Sentinel reports:

Lebanon’s Prime Minister, Hassan Diab, said that 2,750 tons of ammonium nitrate that had been stored for six years near the waterfront had accidentally ignited causing the explosion. As a means of comparison, the fertilizer bomb Tim McVeigh used to destroy the Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City in 1995 contained only 4,800 pounds of ammonium nitrate.

Of course, the Oklahoma City bombing of 1995 and the framing of Tim McVeigh is another can of worms entirely. Explosions of this sort are nothing new. In 2015, there were reports of tactical nuclear weapons being used in Yemen. The responses from mainstream media sources were as predicable back then are they are now. Here is one example:

Recent weeks have seen numerous reports that an explosion in Yemen was a “nuclear bomb” or even a “neutron bomb”. These particular reports, about a large explosion in Yemen in late May 2015 are largely re-circulating due to articles in the widely derided and generally discredited Veterans Today. It is clear to me, for reasons that I will explain below, that the reports of nuclear warfare in Yemen are a fabrication, and that a large conventional explosion has, once again, fooled the unwise, uneducated, and/or deluded into thinking that a nuclear weapon was used.

Note the reference to Veterans Today as "widely derided" and "generally discredited". Hmmm ... derided and discredited by whom? Anyone who could even entertain the possibility of a nuclear attack is "unwise, uneducated and/or deluded". The reference to Veterans Today however, prompted me to check out what this site had to say about the Lebanon explosion and there is general agreement that it was a nuclear attack by Israel, specifically:

First explosion was caused by Gabriel anti ship missile of Israel. The second explosion was caused by Israeli Delilah missile from F16.

After watching further footage on Veterans Today of the explosion from various angles, it's clear that the second blast was nuclear and, tellingly, the Beirut Governor has called the explosion a national disaster akin to Hiroshima. It's interesting to note that August 12th 2015 also marked the date of the explosion in Tianjin that some have attributed to a tactical nuclear strike.

I'm not quite sure what the orientation of the Veterans Today website really is. There is some weird stuff there. For example, this August 3rd 2020 article runs:

Unmasking the Zionist COVID Disinfo Machine

There is a huge and well-funded conspiracy theory disinfo operation that encompasses Chemtrails, vaccines, 5G, and now COVID-19. The authors of these theories are all Zionist stooges, mostly working for well-funded think tanks that function as disinfo outlets.

Hilariously, the author goes on to identify some of the "Zionist-funded disinfo scumbags" as David Icke, Tony Cartalucci, Whitney Webb, Eric Zuesse, James Corbett, Jon Rappoport, Patrick Henningsen and Paul Craig Roberts.

It will be interesting what some of my other regular alternative news commentators have to say about this Beirut explosion in the coming days.

All Means Fair and Foul

In my last post about King Louis IX, I wrote about the hypocrisy of a member of Chabad-Lubavitch criticising this French monarch given his organisation's espousal of Jewish supremacy and its pursuit by all means fair and foul. It was certainly by all means fair and foul that the modern state of Israel came into existence. I was reminded of this again while reading Volume 2 of Planet Rothschild by M. S. King.

Anybody who reads this book will come away with a different view of history from that presented by mainstream historians. You may disagree or object to some of the content but the overall impact is likely to be revelatory. Clichés like "the victors write the history" begin to have real meaning and mainstream history reveals itself as little more than historical fiction.

You can argue that the book's depiction of Adolf Hitler verges on hagiography but in a way that's almost necessary in order to shock you out of the mainstream characterisation of him as the devil incarnate. The propaganda reinforcing this view of Hitler has been relentless over the decades following the end of World War 2. By contrast, villains like Churchill and Roosevelt who ensured that war erupted have received the opposite treatment. Histories like the two volume Planet Rothschild help redress this gross distortion of history. The book also contains links to other interesting material. In particular, a book titled "Ben-Gurion's Scandals: How The Hagganah and The Mossad Eliminated Jews" by Jewish author Naeim Gilandi. The author's claim is between 1947 and 1952, Zionists staged antisemitic terror in order to frighten Jews in Arab States into moving to Israel.

At first the book only seemed available in hard copy but I was able to locate on e-version on PDFDRIVE (link) that I've now downloaded. I'm looking forward to reading it and its content clearly reinforces the brutal origins of Israel and the ruthlessness of its leaders. Here is short blurb about the book that accompanied the ebook:

Painful truths about the Zionist rape of Palestine and deliberate planting of anti-Semitism in Iraqi Jewish communities during David Ben-Gurion's political career to persuade Iraqi Jews to immigrate to Israel. This excerpt from Wikipedia describes the struggle to publish the book:

In the foreword of the book, Giladi writes that he did not submit a manuscript in Israel for fear of retribution. "Before," he wrote, "one can publish a book in Israel, permission had to be granted by the censors.... When I was contemplating writing and publishing this book, two of my colleagues and well known Israeli journalists (Maxim Gilan and Samuel Mour) were arrested and put in jail for exposing the involvement of the Israeli secret police ... in the kidnapping in Paris of Mehdi Ben Barka ..., charged with crimes against national security and ... locked up for six months. Moreover, the Israeli media were gagged and not even allowed to mention that the two journalists had been arrested. If the authorities had wished, the two men would have been kept in jail for the rest of their lives."

Also in the foreword, Giladi writes that upon emigrating to the United States in 1980, he found several publishers interested in publishing his work. He says he declined to publish because all interested publishers wanted to reserve the right of editorial control over the finished manuscript and he did not want to agree to this. Twelve years after his arrival in the US, he self-published at a cost of $60,000, which he reports was almost all of the proceeds of the sale of his Israeli property.

Born on the 18th of March 1926 in Hillah, Iraq, Giladi died on the 6th March 2010 in Queens, New York.
