Herd Immunity or Herd Stupidity

I was watching a discussion between Del Bigtree (producer of Vaxxed) and Jeff Berwick (of The Dollar Vigilante). One topic that came up was the introduction of mandatory vaccinations in Argentina, not only for children but adults as well. I later checked this out and sure enough, it's true although it may not have been implemented for adults yet. Here is the story:

Argentina Senate Approves New Law Making Vaccines Free and Mandatory

Argentina is taking the anti-vaccine movement — and the reappearance of eradicated illnesses — seriously. The South American country recently approved a new law, 22.909, that declares vaccination as a national interest and understands immunisation as a social good, according to the Argentine newspaper PERFIL.

According to the new law: “Vaccination is of national interest and we understand that research, epidemiological surveillance, decision making based on evidence, acquisition, storage, distribution and provision of vaccines, ensuring the cold chain, as well as its production, is highly important." 

Now vaccines and their application are free and mandatory, totally provided by the government in all stages of life. Being vaccinated will be necessary and required for procedures such as entry and exit of the school system every year, processing or renewal of ID, passports, residence, medical procedures for work, prenuptial certificates, and driver's licenses, as well as for the processing of family allowances. 

Why is vaccination now mandatory? It’s an obligation that the government created for the benefit of citizens and the community to prevent the spread of serious diseases, according to the law.

Pablo Yedlin, the law’s author, is a pediatrician and deputy for the province of Tucumán. Yedlin was worried about the reappearance of diseases, like measles, that were already eradicated and decided to take action. 

"Argentina now has a fundamental tool to prevent infectious diseases through vaccines. Undoubtedly, this law will expand and improve vaccination as a public policy for the control and prevention of vaccine-preventable diseases," said Lautaro de Vedia, president of SADI, Sociedad Argentina de Pediatría, to PERFIL.

According to INFOBAE newspaper, “it will not be necessary to have the vaccines to do certain customs and procedures, but it is important that adults understand that it will be required to have certain vaccines such as Hepatitis B or diphtheria and tetanus.”

Of course, the authorities will not forcibly vaccinate you but life will become more difficult if you don't submit: no ID, no passport, no driver's licence and so on. It would seem that Argentina is being used as a testing ground for mandatory vaccinations. The country's president, Mauricio Macri (elected in 2015) is a vocal critic of Venezuelan president Nicolás Maduro and is in the pocket of the IMF. Clearly, Pablo Yedlin (the new legislation's author) is in the pocket of Big Pharma.

In the discussion between Berwick and Bigtree, the former felt that population control was one of the goals of mandatory adult vaccinations, and the latter agreed that the needle was the perfect vehicle to achieve this if indeed that was the goal. Bigtree also commented that his movie, Vaxxed, had recently been removed from Vimeo and that currently there was a concerted effort to shut down debate about the dangers of vaccination.

As an illustration, Facebook is shutting down the largest anti-vax group on its platform on the grounds that it is "dedicated to spreading fear and misinformation related to vaccines". The group's administrator Larry Cook, "the reigning king of vaccine misinformation on Facebook may need to find a new home" according this news article.

The same article states that:

The past six months have not been good for the Stop Mandatory Vaccinations founder. In the spring, YouTube demonetised his channel for sharing vaccine misinformation. Additionally, GoFundMe shut down his numerous campaigns to raise money to stop vaccinations.

Australia, being the pathetically subservient country that it is, will likely implement a program of mandatory vaccinations as well. Disturbingly, this is the future. Along with Argentina, Australia is well on its way to being a Vaccine Nation:

Notes on Herd Immunity from Andrew Wakefield 

Herd Immunity is a term that is bandied around in defence of mass and mandatory vaccination. What is it and why is it important? 

Let’s set out a working definition of what Herd Immunity is at a functional level in the population: Herd Immunity is the presence of adequate immunity within a population against a specific infection that operates to protect those at high risk of serious infection and consequently, reduce morbidity and mortality from that infection. 

Now let’s separate out Herd Immunity, comparing what it meant in the pre-vaccine era compared with what it means in the vaccine era, using specific infections as examples. 

Measles: Herd Immunity in the pre-vaccine era 

When measles first enters a population that has not been exposed to measles before, Herd Immunity is zero and there is, initially, a very high morbidity (illness) and mortality. 

This occurs in large part as a consequence of high dose exposure. 

High dose exposure occurs because, in the absence of viral immunity, viral replication is unimpeded in the multiple susceptible human reservoirs in which it thrives. High doses of measles virus are transmitted from one person to the next. Added to this, socioeconomic circumstances contribute to high dose exposure. This includes high population density (easy transmission) and poor antiviral defenses (e.g. low vitamins A, D, and C). An example is the ravage of measles in Confederate soldiers amassed in barracks and hospitals in the American Civil War. 

Over time, as measles becomes endemic (constantly circulating) in a population with typical 2-yearly epidemics, Herd Immunity increases rapidly. Natural exposure leads to long term immunity. Immunity limits viral transmission and opportunities for viral replication. Concomitantly, developed countries have experienced an improvement in nutritional status and consequently antiviral immunity. Dose of exposure falls and a dramatic reduction in morbidity and mortality is observed. 

As a consequence of natural Herd Immunity, in the developed world measles mortality had fallen by 99.6% before measles vaccines were introduced. A fall in morbidity will have paralleled the fall in mortality (mortality is the extreme of morbidity). 

Let us look at an example of how natural Herd Immunity operated to provide age-appropriate immunity. 

Infants less than one year of age have a limited ability to generate adequate immunity and are susceptible to serious measles infection. 

In the pre-vaccine era mothers conferred good passive immunity on their infants by transplacental and breast milk transfer. 

This passive immunity protected infants through a period of vulnerability until they were better able to cope with measles through the generation of their own active immunity. 

The vaccine era 

Measles vaccine has destroyed natural Herd Immunity and replaced it with a temporary and inadequate quasi Herd Immunity that necessitates a dependence on vaccination along with an increased risk of severe adverse outcomes. Here are some examples of how natural Herd Immunity has been destroyed. 

The increasing Herd Immunity associated with natural measles and the accompanying decrease in morbidity and mortality, has been interrupted by vaccination. This makes it difficult to predict how vaccinated populations might respond to, say, a new strain of measles virus that has escaped the ‘protection’ conferred by measles vaccine (escape mutant). Because that population is not immune to the escape mutant we risk high morbidity and mortality from measles once again. 

Vaccinated mothers do not confer adequate passive immunity upon their infants (< 1 year of age). Infants are unable to generate an adequate immune response to measles vaccine and in the absence of passive maternal immunity, are unprotected during the first year, putting them at risk of serious measles infection. 

Unlike natural measles, measles vaccine does not provide lasting immunity and a substantial proportion of measles cases are reported in those who have been vaccinated against measles. 

Boosting of immunity using repeated doses of measles vaccine is not sustained and falls off rapidly. The only answer to this diminishing return that is offered by the regulators and manufacturers is to give more and more vaccines. The vaccine is highly profitable in terms of volume of sales, precisely because it is inadequately effective. 

Mumps and Herd Immunity 

Mumps is acknowledged to be a trivial disease in children; many do not even know they have had mumps the symptoms are so mild. Mumps is not a trivial disease in post-pubertal males where it can cause testicular inflammation and sterility. 

Mumps vaccine does not work. Protection is way below the 96% claimed by Merck and mumps epidemics are occurring worldwide in highly vaccinated populations. Merck is accused of fraudulently misrepresenting the efficacy of their mumps vaccine in order to protect their US monopoly on the MMR vaccine. I would suggest that everyone who has suffered mumps and particularly its complications despite mumps vaccination, has a valid legal claim against Merck. 

Mumps vaccine failure is associated with inadequate immunity following vaccination (primary failure) and rapidly waning immunity after vaccination (secondary failure). These factors mean that populations are at greater risk as they grow older. Since severe side effects are more common in mature males, mumps vaccine has made mumps a more dangerous disease. 

Natural Herd Immunity, that is, lifelong immunity following exposure of children to mumps in the pre-vaccine era, has been destroyed by mumps vaccination. 

Chickenpox and Herd Immunity 

The chickenpox virus (varicella zoster) causes a mild self-limiting disease in healthy children. The virus frequently establishes latent infection in the cell bodies of sensory nerve roots where it has the potential to episodically reactivate and cause shingles, a very painful and debilitating condition. Shingles can cause blindness. Historically, shingles was an uncommon disease occurring in, for example, people with immune deficiency due to cancer or immunosuppressive drug therapy. 

Reactivation of zoster is inhibited by an adequate level of immunity to this virus which, in turn, is maintained by boosting of immunity in parents and grandparents by re-exposure via children with chickenpox. Natural epidemics of chickenpox maintained Herd Immunity by ‘wild-type boosting’ (referring to the natural virus) of adults which prevented shingles in otherwise healthy individuals. This is no longer the case. 

Widespread chickenpox vaccination has removed natural Herd Immunity by preventing epidemics, eliminating ‘wild-type’ boosting, and allowing immunity to fall in individuals to the point where shingles is now much more common, occurring in young, apparently healthy people. Vaccination has created a new epidemic to which Merck’s response is, ‘we’ve created a market; now let’s make a vaccine to prevent shingles.’

The Cosmopolitans

This is a hilarious article that I came across on THINKPROGRESS that illustrates the sensitivity of the Jewish lobby in the United States to remarks that are viewed as anti-semitic. It begins with the headline:

during speech before national conservative group

The article continues:

On Tuesday this week, freshman Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) made an appearance at the National Conservatism Conference to deliver the keynote address. His remarks predictably targeted progressive lawmakers and the principles of liberalism in the United States — specifically, he focused his ire on the traditional enclaves of the country’s “elite,” the largest cities that tend to skew more Democratic and forward-thinking. 

Except Hawley didn’t use the term “city-dweller,” or “urban” or even “coastal elites” to describe the subject of his enmity. He used, repeatedly and often, the word “cosmopolitan.” 

On its face, the word is inoffensive and unremarkable. But in the wrong context — indeed, in the context in which Hawley used it on Tuesday — the word has deeply anti-Semitic subtext. 

In his prepared remarks, Hawley at various points decried the “cosmopolitan consensus,” the “cosmopolitan elite,” the “cosmopolitan class,” and the “cosmopolitan economy,” and more broadly took exception to the “cosmopolitan agenda” that is supposedly at the root of the country’s yawning political divide.

The executive director of the Jewish Community Relations Bureau-American Jewish Committee commented:

[References to a] shadowy elite class destroying the country from within, loyal only to ‘the global community,’ sound to many in the Jewish community eerily reminiscent of speeches from Germany in the 1930s.

Predictably "the state’s chapter of the Anti-Defamation League in St. Louis also took strong exception to Hawley’s remarks" as well. I think that many conservative politicians, who aren't committed Christian Zionists, recognise the threat the Jewish elite pose to the security and well-being of the United States. Probably many Christian Zionists recognise the threat as well but put the fulfilment of end-times prophecy ahead of their country's interest.

The problem for politicians is that it's political suicide to identify the "shadowy elite class destroying the country from within" as being comprised mainly of Jews. The issue has to be raised obliquely. This is what may YouTube alternative news sites resort to so as to avoid having their channel shut down. Terms like "the global elite", "the cabal", "the globalists", "the puppet masters" and so on are used. Hawley's use of the term "cosmopolitan" is in that vein. He is a "freshman" after all and at this early stage of his career he probably thinks he can make a difference.

However, the term "cosmopolitan" and specifically "rootless cosmopolitan" has a long history as I've now discovered. Figure 1 shows a caricature of the "rootless cosmopolitan" taken from a 1949 Soviet magazine cover. Here is an excerpt from Wikipedia about the use of the term:

Rootless cosmopolitan was a pejorative Soviet euphemism widely used during Soviet anti-Semitic campaign of 1948–1953, which culminated in the "exposure" of the non-existent Doctors' plot. The term "rootless cosmopolitan" referred mostly to Jewish intellectuals, as an accusation of their lack of patriotism, i.e., lack of full allegiance to the Soviet Union. The campaign against "rootless cosmopolitans" began in 1946, when Joseph Stalin in his speech in Moscow attacked writers who were ethnic Jews. The expression was coined in the 19th century by Russian literary critic Vissarion Belinsky to describe writers who lacked Russian national character.

The Wikipedia article is an interesting read and reveals how Uncle Joe went too far in his attacks on Jews and suffered the ultimate penalty.

The Jewish lobby's condemnation of Hawley's cosmopolitan remarks shows how humourless and fanatical it has become in defending "the Jews". The lobby is no longer helpful to Jewish interests and its witch-hunting is in fact becoming harmful. The Jews have always had a wry sense of humour that is well-illustrated by the flier shown in Figure 2, advertising a Jewish get-together in London (website).

The Jews organising this were not afraid of seeing themselves as "rootless cosmopolitans" with the gathering described thus:

Jewdas’ countercultural revolution rumbled on with the incarnation of the rootless cosmopolitan yeshiva. Deep under London Bridge station, the shunt lounge became a hub of radical and subversive Jewish thought. Something between a salon, a beit midrash and a twisted cabaret club, the yeshiva was filled with those who like their Jewishness iconoclastic, countercultural and provocative. Debate filled the cavernous archways and argument reverberated into the night. Ears strained to hear the details of complex arguments and people mingled from table to table absorbing a dizzying range of ideas. The strains of dark accordion klezmer met those who stayed until the end. No one left unscathed.

A Yeshiva is apparently a school for Talmudic studies. Interestingly, one the speakers on the night was John Rose, speaking on the topic of "Liberating Jewish History from its Zionist Stranglehold". Doubtless the ADL would have condemned this "iconoclastic, countercultural and provocative" gathering as anti-semitic.

E. Michael Jones and The Jewish Revolutionary Spirit

Having just recently completed Douglas Reed's voluminous "The Controversy of Zion" (see my earlier post), I've just now started on E. Michael Jones' book titled "The Jewish Revolutionary Spirit". I was watching a YouTube video in which Jones was being interviewed by an Irishman who was not happy about the moral decay and the level of government debt within his country. In the show notes for the video, "The Jewish Revolutionary Spirit" was mentioned and, when I checked my e-library, I noticed that I had a copy that I'd previously downloaded from the Internet Archive.

This is the same source that I used to download my copy of "The Controversy of Zion". Addendum: I've since discovered that the Internet Archive contains only selections from "The Jewish Revolutionary Spirit" and not the entire 1000+ page book.

So who is E. Michael Jones? Well, what better source to draw upon than the Anti-Defamation League or ADL where, to his credit, he attracts a three page PDF article. Douglas Reed has no such entry, probably because he has long passed (1978) and the organisation does not want to draw any attention to his excellent book. Jones however, is still very much alive and in fact is only slighter older than me, having been born on May 4th 1948 in Philadelphia.

E. Michael Jones is an anti-Semitic Catholic writer who promotes the view that Jews are dedicated to propagating and perpetrating attacks on the Catholic Church and moral standards, social stability, and political order throughout the world. He portrays the Jewish religion as inherently treacherous and belligerent towards Christianity. He describes Jews as “outlaws and subversives [who use] religion as a cover for social revolution,” and claims that Judaism possesses “a particularly malignant spirit.” Jones also imagines the contemporary world, with its social ills, as having been cast in the imprint of Judaism, characterizing 21st-century civilization as “a Jewish world run on commercial principles.” He also identifies this “Jewish modernity” as representing “blood, the law, calculation, and hate.” In the tradition of conspiracy theorists, Jones credits Jews with orchestrating occurrences as varied and disconnected from the Jewish experience as the Protestant Reformation and the French Revolution. He also blames Jews for Bolshevism, Freemasonry, and an alleged contemporary “Jewish takeover of American culture.” Jones reaches for tenuous connections to paint “the Jews” as inherently wicked and prone to colluding openly or secretly to threaten other populations around them. Jones argues that mass killings of Jews throughout history have been understandable reactions to Jewish beliefs and behavior. He goes so far as to justify Eastern European pogroms and even the Nazi Holocaust on these grounds. As he wrote in a 2003 Culture Wars article, “[T]he Nazi attempt to exterminate the Jews was a reaction to Jewish Messianism (in the form of Bolshevism) every bit as much as the Chmielnicki pogroms flowed from the excesses of the Jewish tax farmers in the Ukraine.”

Predictably, he is branded anti-semitic and the article concludes with details of his links to extremist individuals and organisation. It's also mentioned that:

According to autobiographical sources, Jones initially abandoned the Catholic faith of his upbringing at age 20, embraced the counterculture of the 1960s, and spent his honeymoon stuck in traffic on the way to the Woodstock music festival. In the 1970s, Jones spent time in a rural area of Germany teaching English. Jones reconnected with Catholicism while living in Germany ...

So we are similar in that we both abandoned Catholicism in our youth. I was aged 15 but I never reconnected with Catholicism. The ADL however, does not brand Jones as a holocaust denier because he has not explicitly denied that it occurred. Denying the holocaust is the line the sand that any author or public figure must not cross if he or she wishes to avoid mainstream rejection. Even to challenge any of the details of this alleged historical event is anathema and, in certain European countries, to do so is to risk fines and imprisonment.

Of course, the hierarchy of the Catholic Church is quick to distance itself from Jones and his views about world Jewry. Jones is vocal also is his condemnation of the LGBT agenda. Here is his 4th of July message:

Personally, I doubt whether Catholicism can do much to avert the current moral degeneracy. Islam offers more resistance but as Gabriele Kuby, author of "The Global Revolution" says in an interview (I'm quoting from the transcript so it's a rough read):

... it’s a plan of social engineering, all the money of this world is behind it … it can be manipulated and manufactured and since you have the powers of this world behind this agenda … if you uproot people, no national identity, no religious identity, no family identity … they don’t even know if they’re man or woman … you can do anything with them … I think actually there is a world government approach ...

This of course is the point: a massive and sustained campaign of social engineering is underway. To focus simply on vaccinations or climate alarmism or moral degeneracy or the banksters, 5G telecommunications or the rogue state of Israel is to miss the point. All are connected and the end game is a Zionist world government with its capital in Jerusalem. Zionism is the centre around which everything else orbits:

• vaccinations are not intended to improve the health of children but instead are intended to undermine their health by creating a plethora of chronic, lifelong disorders that place severe emotional and financial burdens on families. Any children that survive unscathed into adulthood are likely to have a dim view of parenthood.
• climate alarmism is not intended to improve the environment but instead is intended to increase the stress on families by increasing the cost of electricity and other utilities and to help bankrupt nation states by requiring them to meet bogus green energy standards.
• the LGBT agenda is not intended to improve the lot of the individuals that comprise this group but instead is intended to undermine family, religion and moral values so that individuals are more susceptible to manipulation. The intrusion of the LGBT agenda into school curricula is producing a backlash amongst people who might ordinarily be tolerant of gay and lesbian lifestyles.
• the banksters are legalised criminals but behind them is a shadowy elite whose goal is not to amass more money but more control. It already has control of the global financial system and it is seeking to ultimately control everybody on the planet, albeit after reducing the size of the global population to a tenth of its current size.
• 5G telecommunication is being rolled out around the world with unseemly haste and along with the IoT will be a powerful tool to monitor individual behaviour and obliterate privacy. This is its primary purpose.
• Israel does not represent those who lay claim to be Jewish. It is a rogue state set up to promote the interests of a tiny elite that is exploiting the Jewish people both inside and outside the country. While expanding the power of Israel is central to the Zionist master plan, the plan could still proceed without it.

It should be remembered that vaccinations, climate alarmism, the LGBT movement, the financial system, 5G telecommunications and the state of Israel are each a prong in the multi-pronged Zionist strategy to control the planet. I'm sure that there are many who oppose vaccinations but who believe in the claims of the climate alarmists. There are many who acquiesce to the LGBT agenda but oppose the implementation of 5G on the basis of health rather than privacy concerns. The brazen extent of the social engineering needs to be borne in mind if its incessant, insidious propaganda is to be resisted.

To quote from that "bastion of truth", Wikipedia says:
